Thomas E. "Tim" Shaw

Thomas E. “Tim” Shaw, 81, formerly of Patterson Twp, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at The Grove of Greenville where he resided. He was born on April 20, 1941, in Beaver Falls to the late Thomas D. and Flora (Brown) Shaw. He was preceded in death by his fiancé, Linda Savilisky, in 2019. 

Tim retired from Babcock & Wilcox after working 30 years in the Hot Mill Dept. He then worked a number of years at Pete Brown’s garage in North Sewickley.

Tim loved motorcycles. He had all makes and models. He made many trips throughout the United States on his bikes. He loved riding with his gang to have wings and go to bike nights. Tim lived in Patterson Township most of his life and spent time hanging out at the counter at Waite’s Ice Cream or talking to friends at Taylor’s Gas Station in his younger years. 

Tim is survived by his son, David (Amy) Shaw, Smethport, PA; his daughter, Lora Shaw Edmonds, North Sewickley; his ex-son-in-law Jeff Edmonds, Patterson Twp; his grandchildren Kathryn (Zach) Watt, Beaver Falls, and Grace Edmonds (Zane Lutz), Cuyahoga Falls, OH; his great-grandchildren, Olivia and Isaac Watt. Thomas is also survived by his sisters, Janette Shaw Russell, North Sewickley, and Janis (Jim) Tanner, Bethel Park, PA, and many nieces and nephews. 

Thomas’s family would like to thank all of the nurses and aides that have cared for him over the last few years at The Grove at Greenville. 

Family and friends will be received Monday, March 13 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Avenue, Beaver Falls. His longtime friend Sonny Blucher will officiate.
