Obituary
Toma Trees, 72, of Aliquippa, passed away on July 6, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver.
She was born on September 12, 1950, in Tarentum, to the late James Scott and Juanita Catharine (Mitchell) Trees. After graduating from Beaver Falls High School as a free spirit in the early 70’s she left Beaver Falls and took off for California, only returning four years ago to be near family. The entire time she was in California she worked for Pier 1 Imports, in the Sales Department in Monterey, CA.
She is survived by her sister, Arla (Trees) Cope in Tionesta and two brothers, Scott Trees, Aliquippa and Trent Trees in Atlanta, GA.
In lieu of flowers, it was Toma’s wish to have memorial contributions go to the Compass Church- 830 Padre Drive Salinas, California 93901, www.compasschurchmc.org , where she was a member.
A private visitation and funeral service was held for her family on Saturday, July 8th. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
