Victoria Lee “Vicki” Shaffer, 84, formerly of North Sewickley Twp. passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She began her life journey in New Brighton on May 12, 1938, daughter of Charles and Azalea (Wilkinson) Kelley Jackson.
After graduating from Beaver Falls High School, she began working for the Harry Greenblatt accounting firm. She also worked at Jiffy Steak in Freedom. She married the love of her life, Thomas David Shaffer, on April 11, 1958 and several years later, had two children, Tim and Deb.
Vickie loved her family, her friends, and her faith. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, solving puzzles and visiting with friends and family. She was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Beaver Falls for more than 60 years and volunteered her accounting talents to manage the church’s treasury for more than 20 years. Ever involved, Vicki volunteered her time and talents to the Women’s Ministry, the Royal Rangers, a boys ministry, and many other church activities. With a passion for her faith, her ministry included helping others participate in faith-based activities, such as picking up members and bringing them to church.
Vickie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Thomas David Shaffer, Brighton Twp.; her son and daughter and their spouses, Tim and Bonita Shaffer, Plainfield, NJ and Deb and Kevin Wren, Bel Aire, KS; her sister, Sandra Enders, North Sewickley Township, Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Hill and Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Avenue in Beaver Falls. There will be an additional visitation on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 1317 Darlington Rd, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Pastor Mark Grogan will officiate.
Vicki will be entombed in Beaver Falls Cemetery Mausoleum.
