Virginia May (Sandoe) Peters

Virginia May (Sandoe) Peters, 92, of Laveen, Arizona, died Saturday March 25, 2023 in her daughter’s home.

Born on July 12, 1930, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Ellsworth Sr. and Laura Evelyn (Corrigan) Sandoe. Virginia was food demonstrator for Costco for over 20 years. She was an avid Bingo player, loved to read and watch game shows on TV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore D. Peters, on March 23, 2001, all of her siblings, and three daughters-in-law, Marijke (Dave), Diana (Daniel) and Vicki (Michael) Peters, two great-grandchildren, Virgil Harget and Maridjah Wasimin, and one great-great grandchild, Yeralina Mueses.

Virginia is survived by her children, Theodore D. “Dave” Peters, Jr. (Kayla), of Sun City, AZ, Daniel E. Peters, of York, PA, Thomas G. Peters (Susan), of Beaver Falls, PA, Michael A. Peters, of Koppel, PA, and Lori Lopez (Marcelino), of Laveen, AZ, 16 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday from 4PM until 8PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, followed by a funeral service on Saturday at 11AM with the Rev. Tai Courtemanche officiating.

Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
