Willie Coleman Obituary

Willie Coleman

Center Township

Willie Coleman, 76, of Center Township, died on Saturday, February 8, 2020.

Born September 11, 1943 in Durant, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Brad and Daisy Wilson Coleman.  He and his family moved from Mississippi to Midland in 1959.    He was always proud of his southern heritage and upbringing and enjoyed telling many stories of his early years there.  He had previously been employed at the Hot Dog Shoppe in Ambridge.   He loved music, especially the blues and jazz, and he played the harmonica and the guitar.  He enjoyed Bingo and several other games.  He also enjoyed bowling with the Saturday morning bowlers and was active in the Senior Program at the HAP Training Center.  He was well liked by everyone, always in a good mood, had a positive attitude, liked to laugh, and was always appreciative.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leon Coleman in 2000.

He is survived by a Cousin Jack, and his HAP family who will sorely miss him.

Friends will be received in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. The Rev. Bobby V. Wilson will be officiating.  Private burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be HAP, 310 Wayne Street, Beaver, PA 15009
